For the first time the Denshaw band committee will be offering the food options from the side of the Denshaw Oddfellows Club. All proceeds from the sale of food will help to support future contest funding. If you feel a bit peckish on the night please support the contest.
Menu to include: Pie & Peas, Chilli & rice, hot dogs, snacks, soft drinks, hot drinks
Parking in Denshaw is limited. If you are travelling by car, we advise you to arrive early and park on either Oldham Road or Ripponden Road. There will be parking restrictions marked by traffic cones around the centre of the village so you will need to park a little further along these roads. You should not park on Huddersfield Road as it will be closed to traffic for the duration of the Contest.
The 356 bus service continues into Denshaw village centre throughout the evening. Check https://tfgm.com/public-transport/bus for latest service times. for latest service information.
Some seating is provided but this is limited. If you wish to sit down, it would be a good idea to bring a portable folding chair.
Alcoholic and soft drinks are available at the Oddfellows Club (5 Huddersfield Rd, Denshaw OL3 5SD), the Junction Inn (2 Rochdale Road, Denshaw OL3 5SE) and The Printers (20 Oldham Road, Denshaw OL3 5SN).
Meals are available at The Junction Inn and The Printers but we would strongly recommend that you book in advance (Junction Inn 01457 874265, The Printers 01457 874248)
Toilets are available at the Oddfellows Club. Portaloos will be available at the rear of the Oddfellows club. Facilities are also available within the Oddfellows.
